Are there any Mathematical Miracles of Quran?
There is not a single but a lot of mathematical miracles of Quran that comes out when one reads the holy scripture. As we all know every Prophet was sent with a Miracle, and the last Prophet (MUHAMMAD (S.A.W.)) was also given a miracle. The Miracle of Prophet MUHAMMAD (S.A.W.) is the Qur’an. The Qur’an is the only book of guidance in the whole world with such good eloquence, and a poetic style that no other book can match it. Apart from that, every piece of information related to History, Science, Human Psychology, Medical present in the Qur’an is correct and no flaw has been found till now.
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
“So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?”
– Al Qur’an (Ch55, v18)
Just like Musa (A.S.) was given many miracles, Isa (A.S.) was given a miracle to bring back a dead person to life and cure the blind, Prophet MUHAMMAD’s miracle was the Qur’an.
The Kuffars in pre-Islamic Arabia used to ask MUHAMMAD (S.A.W.) to show the Miracles, as every Prophet was gifted with Miracles.
MUHAMMAD (S.A.W.) showed many miracles which included the splitting of the moon, Journey to Mir’aj, and the biggest miracle was the Qur’an which consists of the signs of ALLAH and warns the disbelievers. Yet many of the Kuffars did not believe in the signs of ALLAH (S.W.T.).

The Qur’an is the guidance to all mankind, and it consists of every important piece of information which were present in the previous books of ALLAH (Torah, Zabur, and Injeel).

The Qur’an consists of various mathematical miracles which can mesmerize the reader. Mathematics has always been an important element, and there is no subject related to the field of Science where Mathematics is not compulsory. Every branch of Science (Physics, Chemistry, Astronomy, Medical) require Mathematical tools to draw the conclusions.
Thus, the Qur’an has everywhere shown various mathematical miracles to show the readers (including believers as well as non-believers) the signs of ALLAH (S.W.T.). If a non-believer still rejects Qur’an after seeing such clear signs from ALLAH (S.W.T.), then his/her abode is the hellfire, and woe to him/her in this life as well as hereafter.
PROOF OF THE MATHEMATICAL MIRACLES OF QURAN
LAND (Al Barr) AND WATER (Al Bahr) RATIO IN THE QUR’AN
The total earth is made up of both land and water. THe percentage of water bodies (sea, Lakes e.t.c.) is 71% while the remaining 29% is occupied by the land.
Out of 510 million square Kilometers, approximately 360 million square Kilometres is taken by the water bodies, 15 million square Kilometres are ice-sheets, while the remaining (510-360-15=135) million square Kilometres of the earth is covered by Land.
Thus, the water bodies covers 360 million square Kilometres of the Earth Surface, while the Land (excluding Ice-Sheets) cover 135 million square Kilometres.
If we divide 135 by 360, the answer will be (135/360=0.375).
Thus, the area ratio of Land to Water on Earth’s surface is 0.375.
Now, let us come to the Qur’an. The word (Al-Barr) meaning “Land” has been repeated 12 times in the Qur’an, while the word (Al-Bahr) meaning “water” is repeated 32 times in the Qur’an.
Some people will argue that why no direct words are used in the Qur’an for the numerical value instead of the repetition of the same words.
It is because the Qur’an is a miracle and the direct usage of a particular word for different numerical value will not give it a feel. The Qur’an consists encoded information. It is just like the value of “Pi”. The “Pi” is used everywhere in Maths, Physics, and other sciences as well, and its value was decoded. Similarly, the number of words in the Qur’an gives the numerical data for analysis.
The 9 times usage of Al-Barr (Land) out of 12 is used with Al-Bahr (Water) which shows that ALLAH (S.W.T.) is emphasizing more on the relationship between Land and water.
If we divide the total words of Land (Al-Barr) and Water (Al-Bahr) given in the Qur’an, then, the ratio will be:
12/32= 0.375
The ratio of Land and Water proved by scientific methods is matched to the ratio of the Land and Water words repeated in the Qur’an.
